GENERAL RULES AND GUIDELINES:

1. Contest Date : 28th May, 2023 (Sunday)
2. For all the contests the reference book shall be Bhagavad-gita As It Is
3. Men and women teams shall be separate and can include children also
4. All the content selected by the teams should be from the provided list or else approval should be taken
5. Limited seats for each contest. Please register soon.

गीता कांटेस्ट: नियम तथा निर्देश 

1. प्रतियोगिता तारीख : 28 मई, 2023 (रविवार)
2. सभी प्रतियोगिताओं के लिए सन्दर्भ पुस्तिका भगवद्गीता यथारूप ही होगी
3. पुरुषों और महिलाओं की अलग अलग टीम होगी । उनमे बच्चे भी सम्मिलित हो सकते हैं ।
4. टीम द्वारा चुने गए विषय या श्लोक उपलब्ध सूचि में से होने चाहिए अन्यथा टीम जो भी विषय चयन करे उसकी मंजूरी ली जनि चाहिए ।
5. हर प्रतियोगिता के लिए सिमित सीट्स हैं । कृपया शीघ्र रजिस्टर करें ।

Contest 1: Gita Shloka Singing

Team size – Max 5
Presentation time – 5 Minutes
Rules –

1. The participants should select a set of 5-7 shlokas and recite them in a melodious tune.
2. The Shloka recital should in chorus.
3. Translation should be narrated individually. Every member in the team must narrate at least one translation.
4. With translation team must present brief summary of the topic.
5. Shlokas should be connected to each other. (1) Pick a set of shlokas from any chapter OR (2) Shlokas from different chapters on one topic.
6. Team must submit the print out of the shlokas and translation before the contest.
7. Assessment will be done based on tune, rhythm, synchronisation of the shloka recital and accuracy of translation from Bhagavad-gita As It Is.

कॉन्टेस्ट 1: गीता श्लोक सिंगिंग

टीम सदस्य संख्या – अधिकतम 5
प्रस्तुति का समय – 5 मिनट
नियम –

1. टीम को 5-7 श्लोकों का चयन करना है और उन्हें सुरीले तरीके से उच्चारण करना है ।
2. श्लोकों का उच्चारण सभी सदस्यों को एक साथ करना है ।
3. अनुवाद के लिए प्रत्येक टीम के सदस्य को कम से कम एक अनुवाद बोलना होगा ।
4. अनुवाद के साथ साथ इन श्लोकों की संक्षिप्त व्याख्या भी देनी होगी ।
5. श्लोक आपस में सम्बंधित होने चाहिए . (1) किसी एक अध्याय से श्लोकों का एक विभाग ले सकते हैं  “या” (2) विभिन्न अध्यायों से एक ही विषय पर श्लोक ले सकते हैं ।
6. प्रतियोगिता से पहले टीम को श्लोक और अनुवाद का प्रिंट आउट जमा करवाना होगा।
7. मूल्यांकन श्लोक उच्चारण की मधुरता, सदस्यों का आपस में तालमेल, उच्चारण की सटीकता और अनुवाद की सटीकता पर निर्भर करेगा ।

Contest 2: Gita Shloka Challenge

Team size – Max 3
Presentation time – 5 Minutes
Rules –

1. A set of 15 shlokas can be chosen by the team from the given options below.
2. The members should memorize the given shlokas and their translation.
3. The will give a key word, a part of shloka, or part of translation or the shloka number and ask the team to recite the complete shloka or translation.
4. Assessment will be done based on completion of shloka or translation & accuracy of pronunciation.

कॉन्टेस्ट 2: गीता श्लोक चैलेंज

टीम सदस्य संख्या – 3
प्रस्तुति का समय – 5 मिनट
नियम –

1. प्रत्येक टीम को  15 श्लोक दिए जायेंगे.
2. टीम के सदस्यों को श्लोक एवं उनके अनुवाद याद करने हैं।
3. उन्हें श्लोक का कोई मूल शब्द, या कोई अंश या अनुवाद का भाग, या श्लोक संख्या दिया जायेगा जिसे सुनकर उन्हें  पूरा श्लोक या अनुवाद बताना है ।
4. मूल्यांकन श्लोक और अनुवाद की पूर्णता और स्पष्ट श्लोक उच्चारण के आधार पर किया जायेगा ।

Contest 3: Gita Poster Presentation

Team size – 2
Presentation time – 7 Minutes
Rules –

1. The team can select a theme from the Gita with approval from Krishna Ashraya Department OR pick from the list given below.
2. Prepare a poster with drawings, photos, flowcharts, etc. to explain the subject.
3. At the time of the presentation, the photo of the poster will be clicked and displayed on the projector. The team must explain it to the audience.
4. The poster should be submitted at least one day prior to the event.
5. Assessment will be done based on how informative and attractive the poster is designed, how well the team presents the subject and answers the related questions.

कॉन्टेस्ट 3: गीता पोस्टर प्रस्तुति

टीम सदस्य संख्या – 2
प्रस्तुति का समय – 7 मिनट
नियम –

1. टीम गिता से कोई विशेष प्रसंग या विषय चुन सकती है (कृष्ण आश्रय डिपार्टमेंट की मंजूरी से) या नीचे दिए विषयों में से चयन कर सकती है ।
2. विषय को समझाने के लिए पोस्टर तैयार कीजिये जिसमें चित्रकला, तस्वीरें, फ्लोचार्ट इत्यादि हों.
3. प्रस्तुति के समय पोस्टर का फोटो प्रोजेक्टर पर डिस्प्ले किया जायेगा. टीम उसे श्रोताओं को समझाएगी ।
4. मूल्यांकन किया जायेगा प्सोटर के आकर्षक डिजाईन और जानकारी पर, तथा उसके प्रस्तुतीकरण पर । और इससे जुड़े प्रश्नों के उत्तर पर ।

Contest 4: Gita Quiz

Team size – 3 
Written Quiz Time – 10 Minutes
Rules –

1. There will be a written quiz based on Chapter 1.
2. Top 4 teams of the written quiz will appear for the Oral Quiz which will be based on Chapter 2.
3. The Oral Quiz will have 5 rounds and the top scoring team will be the winner.

कॉन्टेस्ट 4: गीता क्विज

टीम सदस्य संख्या – 3 
लिखित क्विज का समय – 10 मिनट
नियम –

1. अध्याय 1 पर आधारित लिखित प्रश्नोत्तरी होगी.
2. लिखित प्रश्नोत्तरी में सर्वोच्च 4 टीमें मौखिक प्रशोनात्तरी में भाग लेंगी जो अध्याय 2 पर आधारित होगा.
3. मौखिक प्रश्नोत्तरी में 5 राउंड होंगे और सर्वाधिक अंक प्राप्त करनेवाली टीम विजयी होगी।
